Pick one or all of these fun Mustache treats for dad this Father’s Day! These cookies and cupcakes are inspired by mustaches. Not all dads have them now, but chances are they have experimented with them once or twice in life! 😉
Mustache Cookies
Just a few simple ingredients are all you need to make each of these recipes.
To make these cookies I used a mustache cookie cutter found on Amazon. I used my favorite Chocolate Sugar Cookie recipe and added a sweet chocolate glaze frosting. Topped with some chocolate jimmies, these cookies are a fun treat that the whole family will enjoy!
Chocolate Mustache Cupcake Toppers
This fun treat could not be easier or tastier! I prepared my favorite Best Chocolate Cupcakes and Whipped Vanilla Buttercream. I piped a dollop on top of the cupcake using a #8B tip and set aside until I was ready to prepare the chocolate mustaches.
Using a mustache cookie cutter (or find a mustache online and print to use as a template) trace out mustaches on a piece of paper. Set the paper on a baking sheet. You may way to tape it down. Place a piece of parchment on top.
Melt about 4 ounces of chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute and heat in 15-second increments until the chocolate is melted. Pour chocolate into a piping bag. Cut off a small portion of the tip of the bag and pipe chocolate into the parchment paper following the mustache outlines. Fill in with chocolate and then chill for about 10 minutes.
Remove the chocolate mustache from the parchment and place it on top of the cupcake. They can sit out at room temperature for 24 hours but may need to be chilled after that or the chocolate will lose its shape and begin to spot.
I know your special guy will love any (or all!) of these Mustache Treats for Father’s Day!
