I would like to make a batch as written but add a little bit of heat along with the sweet. Thinking of adding cayenne (maybe 1/4 tsp) along with the glaze ingredients. Whatcha think?

Wow! Perfection. I made a mix of pecans and cashews as that’s what I had on hand. Delish! These will be a year-round recipe. I bought a new cooling rack with .5” squares for the next batch to help some of the excess drain.
