We are all not fans of Cool whip, can I substitute real whipped cream, done enough to hold its self instead of the cool whip? The pie does look yummy!

I want to try this recipe for the peanut butter pie, although I am a diabeteic o thought I could use sugar free cool whip low fat cream cheese .

I make this peanut butter pie but I do not use an oreo crust. I make my own regular pie crust, bake it, and let it cool. After the crust is cooled, I put in the peanut butter filling and refrigerate. The crust is flakey and the pie isn’t as rich. My family loves it!

I add a layer of instant chocolate pudding on top, then a layer of whip cream and top with chopped nuts and mini chocolate chips. It is always a hit at our senior luncheon. Have been making this for many years

Just an fyi, oreo’ now have a gluten free cookie! Would be great to surprise someone with it!
