I have to do gluten free here.Tryed almond flour and it wasn’t very good.Tryed coconut flour and it was awful.But they are good with Great Value gluten free flour.
The only problem is the gluten free pie crust is much more brittle and harder to work with.

How to Bake Cherry Hand Pies in the Oven
To bake the hand pies in the oven, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the assembled hand pies onto the lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-17 minutes at 400°F.

Can I Make these in an Air Fryer?
You bet! First, assemble the pies. Then, working in batches so you do not overcrowd the basket of the air fryer, air fry the hand pies for 6-8 minutes at 360°F.

if you were to spray both sides of each pie with a non-stick oil (butter) spray, could you bake them in an oven or air-fryer to avoid the grease? if yes – how long should you let them go – 15min?

They look pretty easy to make. I’m going to make some this week. Cherry pie is a favorite of mine.
