In reply to Amanda Rettke. Will the filling be too runny if you use this recipe this way? I am concerned that it won't stay on the dough so it can be folded. Has anyone had that problem? I want to make these for a family function but was wondering about that. Thanks

In reply to Victoria. They ARE called hand pies in other areas of the country. It's like how soda, pop, and Coke are all the same thing but referred to in different ways around the county. I hope you can understand this and not be upset about a name.
