I usually love all your recipes, but this one is just so-so. The balance of the tart raspberries with the sweetness of the chocolate was spot-on. However, the muffins were quite dense despite not overworking the flour into the wet ingredients. Besides the salted butter, the recipe doesn’t use any leavening ingredients.

Love these. Mine didn’t look quite the same – my issue as I pulsed the crumble too much so it was too fine. I may try dark chocolate chips next time as the chunks seemed to weigh down the batter a bit.

Another thought – rather than say 1/8 of a cup, which apprently is confusing some people, why not just say 2 Tbs?
