They are hard to roll tightly as the dough keeps stretching. Mine didn’t cook all the way through. The butter made a mess of my muffin pan. I’m willing to admit maybe I did something wrong but I’m not making them again.

Yes, if using the store-bought crescent dough, you should be able to make ahead of time and refrigerate until baking. However, I wouldn’t go longer than overnight.
