Copycat Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino

Frappucinos are iced, blended drinks trademarked by Starbucks that can be made with or without coffee. This cold and refreshing drink has espresso in it, so it will give you a boost of energy from caffeine. With the added chocolate syrup, you will get that mocha flavor in every sip!

Ingredients for Copycat Mocha Frappuccino

Copycat Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino Ingredients

Espresso: Espresso is a concentrated form of coffee. It’s made with finely-ground coffee beans and an espresso machine that blasts boiling water through the ground coffee. It is served in shots (about 1 ounce per shot). It can be made with any kind of coffee, from light roast to dark roast. You can also buy espresso ground coffee and even espresso K-cups you can make in a Keurig coffee maker. If using regular coffee, the coffee flavor will be less intense.

Chocolate SyrupOf course, the blend of chocolate and coffee is the definition of mocha. So, make your own chocolate syrup to have on hand for this, and other recipes like my Chocolate Syrup Mug Cake.

Milk: Whole milk will give you the creamiest drink; but, you could definitely use any milk you have on hand. For a drink with fewer calories, use skim milk or 1% milk.

Whipped CreamThis drink is topped off with whipped cream, or cool whip. Make your own homemade whipped cream to use.

  1. I made this without the sugar and whipped cream. Turned out GREAT! Tastes like a chocolate shake but better.
