My great granddaughters will love making these; we have baking lessons every weekend when I babysit them. You might want to suggest that the leftover pieces of cake would be ideal for making one of my family favorites, Trifle! That is an easy and delicious way to use those scraps and it’s easy enough for kids to make, too!
