In reply to Anna. Hi Anna! Sounds like they are just a tad overbaked. I tried to stress that in the recipe, but unfortunately every oven heats differently. I recommend keeping an eye on them in your kitchen and taking them out when the middle still appears underbaked. They will continue baking out of the oven. :)

We made these for the first time today. Unfortunately they didn’t come out as pictured. They look more like cake cookies. We followed the recipe to a T! Help!

I don’t like chewy cookies, I like crisp cookies. Will using the whole egg and not letting the dough rest make them crispy?
