It was very difficult to work with and the cookies didn’t turn out pretty. They were very tasty and got eaten though!

And that they should cool a bit before moving. Everything you have stated is a “problem” is covered in the recipe. And I specifically say to bake until tops are “just” dry- so overbaking might result in a less than desireable cookie.
“Bake 8-10 minutes or until tops are just dry. Let cool on pan for a few minutes so that you can move them to a cooling rack without breaking them.”

I wanted to ask if I can replace the egg with something else?
In general for any recipe would be helpful.

However my frosting wasn’t as thick as yours and dont know why but still very good

I just made these dirty chocolate cookies and we are in love. My husband would like to know if we can freeze them and bake later. He like to bake them at the hunting camp and cookies travel better if frozen and baked there. Thanks
