Like this one I would suggest a teaspoon of ground mustard. I used a piece of ham that was not left over. So I cooked off the water first in a skillet. They add so much water to ham now it messes with the sauce.

Half and half is a product that’s a blend of equal parts whole milk and light cream. I believe it’s called half cream in the UK.
